Recalling Personal Tales of Grandeur
Getting Your Attention
In Atlanta, we have a bunch of wonderful supporters of the arts. I go to a Drink & Ink sponsored by BINDERS Atlanta and organized by my buddy Emer Reilly, the curator down at The Cube Gallery. It’s an opportunity to get together with fellow artists.
I value the opportunity for many reasons. I enjoy experimenting and re-discovering media that I have forgot about. This is a by-product of the latest Drink & Ink. It’s India ink on bristol board (compliments of BINDERS).
If you are a local artist, I HIGHLY recommend coming down to the next one. You don’t have to be a professional, just come down and start drawing, painting or creating. The people are friendly and we like new faces. I promise, we will greet you with a smile.

Fighting for It
If you want something bad enough, you’ll find a way to get it.
Praying for it helps also.
I watched a great movie yesterday, Galaxy Quest.
I think I will adopt their tagline as my own. “Never give up, never surrender.”
