Little Princess

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

– Philippians 4:13

It’s day two of my apple diet and I am glad to say, I still like apples.

I have two beautiful boys that I am extremely proud of. I thank God for them every day, however I have always wanted a little girl. That is until I spend the weekend with the family in Ruckersville. Don’t get me wrong, they are all very well behaved, it’s just one weekend of three pre-teens is all the pink and glitter I can handle.

I have a weird “thing” about glitter.

You know after working with glitter, there are always rogue pieces that show up in the most random places, usually in the cheek of the person that’s talking to you. That’s my thing about glitter…that random piece. I start thinking I see it everywhere.

Silly, I know.

So, I kept the lines really simple in this sketch. I concentrated more on the shading. I blended quite a few times to create levels of highlight. Also, I darkened the crown and other metal pieces to give them a heavier look.
