Parts in Place

Most days, I open all my blinds promptly at 9 am. It is part of my daily routine. If I didn’t do this, I would surely be a cave dweller.

So, one day last week, I raised the blinds in the kitchen to clean the window behind it. I was amazed at the amount of sunlight that streams through. It felt wonderful to bask in the sun and clean that window. Needless to say, the blinds are permanently up in the kitchen and doing dishes in the afternoon is now a blessing.

Getting a bit surreal today. I love to use surrealism as a vehicle for creating subtle textures. If you look at the two large pipes at the bottom, they appear to be made of the same material until you look closer.
